About the Founder

Background

Kalesh Ramanand is the Founder and CEO of Kalesh & Co. Born in Alappuzha, Kerala, he studied Computer Science at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology before moving to Chennai to pursue theatre. His acting career began in 2013 with the Malayalam film Kunjananthante Kada and has since spanned Malayalam and Tamil cinema, with notable roles in Hridayam, Thani Oruvan, Gargi, and Neru.

Kalesh brings his storytelling background into fashion, using clothing as a powerful form of expression. Through Kalesh & Co., he merges his creative journey with a vision of giving the Desi community a voice in the streetwear world. His leadership emphasizes authenticity, cultural pride, and making fashion accessible and relatable.
